"The pancake and waffle legends, Moose Coffee, are of course here to serve beautifully soft pancakes this Pancake Day. You can order their classic pancakes with lashings of their Canadian maple syrup (which we need on tap) or pick from their tasty toppings. Moose Coffee are serving pancakes topped with either banana and pecan; granola and chocolate peanut butter; apple and homemade salted caramel; or smoky streaky bacon."
"Located in the heart of Manchester, The Ivy Spinningfields only opened in November 2018, but is already a must-visit spot for anyone seeking a little glamour. The Brasserie serves modern British classics while the The Ivy Asia and Bar serves Asian-inspired cocktails and sharing dishes with entertainment and resident DJs. There are also three private dining rooms - The Dalton, The Geisha Room and The Skylight Terrace."
"A very special spot standing proud in the centre of Spinningfields, The Ivy consists of three charming floors – one of which is completely decked out in the most spectacular, Far Eastern-inspired decor. And the nods don’t end there. The menu is completely inspired by Asia, too, taking inspiration from all corners of the continent when curating their menu."
"An iconic celebrity haunt with beautiful and bold interiors, a retractable rooftop and downstairs bar of gorgeous green decor, The Ivy is an Instagrammer's paradise. If you're looking for pretty food, they've got it."
"This cosy café on Edge Street in the Northern Quarter is known for its snug interior, quirky detailing and incredible-looking cakes. If you’re looking for sweet treats to photograph, you’ll find it hard to select just one cake from their selection, so it’s a good idea to bring a couple of friends with you. And don’t get too stuck into photographing the food that you forget to capture all of the eclectic details, such as their neon pink signs."
"The menu is divided into ‘little ones’, ‘bigger ones’, ‘pizzas’ and ‘afters’ - I like places that keep it simple. And they come with unlimited organic cordial - it gets better. Dishes range from sweet potato rissoto for the little ‘uns, to mini pie and mash or little beef dinner (on Sundays) for the bigger ones who can handle something a bit meatier."
"Albert’s Shed is a stylish city centre restaurant with the advantage of a location at the centre of the Castlefield canal basin. The restaurant has am ..."
"Choose from fresh-baked scones, clotted cream, strawberry jam, savouries, immaculate sandwiches and pastries. All served with exquisite teas or coffees."
"FSK’s back garden has to be one of the nicest spots off Hope Street, and it’s just launched a menu of festive drinks including sloe gin mulled wine and boozy hot chocolate, so if you book an outside table you can combine the two!. The outside tables go quickly, so just message them with your chosen time and they’ll do their best to fit you in."
"07/05/2021: On arrival everyone else had drinks only but we were put in the back tables away from the nice dining area despite being there for dinner, asked to be moved and accommodated (we had booked the table). Food and staff were decent. We were told we would need to leave after 2 hours by one person but was then given the bill."
"Head to Free State Kitchen for a Mount Everest of homemade peanut butter, Chesire farm chocolate and vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce. Plant the flag at the top, don’t wave it in defeat."
"04/05/2021: Hi guys, Karen here, just reviewing this restaurant, if you can even call it that, i wanted to try Nando’s because my kids have been saying i need to be cooler so i thought i would give it a go and go down with the kids, and god help the future generation of this is the food they like!. I went with my dearest friends from the launderette, wendy Janet and Susan, Susan left because she got the poos, and i was highly dissatisfied by the way we were treated, upon entering the restaurant, a dirty, shaggy haired youth greeted us with a small grunt, immediately we were put off, but we ventured forth into the poorly decorated and shabby restaurant. the food gave me the poos it so spicy and it burnt my cheeks off in the morning!"
"This little North West city is packed full of unique buildings, and Church bar is one that really stands out from the crowd. As the name suggests this bar is housed in a converted chapel and still has original features like a church organ and stained-glass windows. The front of the bar provides a long outdoor space that is one of the best beer gardens in Chester."
"Warrington’s parish church is an atmospheric sandstone building with a spire 86 metres high. This is the eighth highest spire in the country, and the fifth highest among parish churches. Most of St Elphin’s dates from a restoration that took place in the 1860s, but there are fragments of earlier buildings."
