Indulge in breakfasts and brunches inspired by the American breakfast culture. Crafted, tweaked & pored over, Moose provides the perfect American Diner influenced menu making you feel like you’ve pulled up a seat in New York City!"
"Looking for that all-day American breakfast experience in a top city centre location?. Right in the heart of the city centre is the fantastic Moose Coffee Liverpool where they know exactly how to cook the perfect breakfast!. Whether it’s getting yourself refuelled after a big night out on the town or getting yourselves prepared for a big day ahead, this place should be at the top of your list!"
"The city’s premier brunch and luncheon spot, there’s good reason why people head to Dale Street every day of the week. Hash medleys, eggs to perfection and back bacon nearly as thick as the toast that rival any start to the day in the city. They’ve become famoose over the years their pancakes stacked skyscraper high and drenched in a cascading sea of maple syrup."
"Another special spot in Spinningfields suitable for both celebrations or just a boujee Tuesday – The Ivy’s roof terrace is stunningly decorated, with plus velvet furniture, fire pits for warmth and grand trees throughout setting a botanical theme for its brasserie offering. Most of the space is for diners, however, there’s a lovely bar within the terrace, too, where you can perch up for a drink or two. The Ivy, The Pavilion, Byrom St, M3 3HG."
"The Brasserie at The Ivy in Manchester do a Saturday and Sunday Brunch (and bank holidays). The restaurant itself is a beautiful art deco inspired space. With options like Truffle Arancini, Zucchini fritti, Eggs Benedict and Avocado Benedict, as well as Hot Buttermilk Pancakes for those (like me) with a sweet tooth!"
"An iconic celebrity haunt with beautiful and bold interiors, a retractable rooftop and downstairs bar of gorgeous green decor, The Ivy is an Instagrammer's paradise. If you're looking for pretty food, they've got it."
"Situated in Manchester’s creative Northern Quarter, Home Sweet Home is a characterful and charming café where friendly staff serve a popular brunch seven days a week, and at a reasonable price too. With a wide breakfast, including the house speciality, a cheeseburger toastie, there’s a choice to suit everyone. Head there for breakfast, lunch, or even afternoon tea which features freshly baked cakes and tempting sundaes, and wash everything down with freshly ground coffee."
"This cosy café on Edge Street in the Northern Quarter is known for its snug interior, quirky detailing and incredible-looking cakes. If you’re looking for sweet treats to photograph, you’ll find it hard to select just one cake from their selection, so it’s a good idea to bring a couple of friends with you. And don’t get too stuck into photographing the food that you forget to capture all of the eclectic details, such as their neon pink signs."
"In fact, other than my occasional pilgrimages to the Grindsmith Pod, I think the last time was when I attended the original Cup North in 2014. So I am indebted to the Best Coffee App for drawing me to Chapel Street and the gem that is Another Heart To Feed, a Melbourne-inspired coffee shop and kitchen which opened in March this year, serving food from an all-day brunch menu and some excellent coffee from London’s Union. There’s the usual espresso-based menu, with Union’s Bright Note as the house-blend, plus a single-origin on pour-over through the V60 and another available as bulk-brew filter."
"The menu is divided into ‘little ones’, ‘bigger ones’, ‘pizzas’ and ‘afters’ - I like places that keep it simple. And they come with unlimited organic cordial - it gets better. Dishes range from sweet potato rissoto for the little ‘uns, to mini pie and mash or little beef dinner (on Sundays) for the bigger ones who can handle something a bit meatier."
"4 out of 5 stars Restaurants British. A marriage of British and Italian cuisine is kept in check with a sensibly sized menu, so that quality isn't compromised, but there's still plenty of choice, with pastas, fish, pizzas and salads alongside larger mains, including steaks."
"A cheeky tram ride takes you away from the bright(ish) lights of Manchester’s city centre and puts you in the chilled out, hipster area of Chorlton filled with micro-breweries and quaint coffee shops bursting with handmade foods. Tea Hive Chorlton is one of such lovely cafes, and one of their specialties is mini ‘dipping’ donuts that come with different dips such as sweet lemon curd, chocolate crème or raspberry jam. These bite-sized morsels are perfect for when you want to treat yourself and not feel too guilty afterward."
"There’s no doubt that this quaint vintage-inspired teashop is a pro when it comes to home baking. You’ll find all kinds of elegant flavours like the quadruple layer St Clements cake with orange curd, lemon curd, and citrus buttercream icing. A personal favourite is the date and ginger cake which comes with spiced cream cheese icing."
"The cakes, which are prepared using very different ingredients, are so different and delicious that you can’t taste them in other places. We strongly recommend you try it. Design and ambience are also very different."
"Alongside their Beyond Meat burger, an aromatic Thai green curry and a 100% plant-based BLT, The Cosy Club have an extra-special vegan fish and chips option. Made from a battered fillet of seaweed-wrapped tofu, the dish was awarded with ‘best vegan fish’ at the 2019 PETA awards."
"Cosy Clubs serve up relaxed dining, drinking and lounging in a really special setting with a dash of nostalgia. We love the big squishy leather sofas!. Cosy Club has an extensive Brunch menu that’s served until 5pm (so you won’t be too late!)."
"For the highest stacks you can manage, head to the Cosy Club in the Corn Exchange where they’ll be dishing up piles of buttermilk pancakes at £1.25 each. Toppings range from wholesome banana and fruit compote to cream and chocolate."
