"Lupo Caffè Italiano, located at the Boat Shed, Exchange Quay, serves award-winning Italian coffee. Italian-flavours continue to run through its daily-changing menu which has previous included crostatina with nutella, stuffed peppers and pistachio, and white chocolate muffins. The cafe also makes Italian birthday cakes with custom designs."
"Just a short tram ride away from the city centre is Slattery, the home of desserts and all things chocolate!. The Whitefield shop is full of surprises – including the Strawberry and Marshmallow Kebabs served with two chocolate pots filled with white and milk liquid Belgian chocolate – perfect for ‘dunking’ in!. Or you could really test yourself and try their Chocolate Challenge."

"🍰 A wonderfully chocolatey Afternoon Tea, cakes, waffles, ice cream and their super-sweet Chocolate Challenge (which is far more difficult than it looks!)"
"If you’ve been to a birthday party or wedding in the last few years, you have most probably seen, and possibly eaten, one of Zara Neild’s iconic cakes. Zara makes customised bakes for every occasion and her shop in Prestwich whips up everything from mini cupcakes to full size dream cakes. You can personalise every morsel and they excel when it comes to fluffy centres and decadent flavours."
"In this place, which prepares various desserts and cake menus for weddings, birthdays and special events, there is also a special cake workshop designed for children. You can try cakes with many different, delicious and interesting designs. 351 Bury Old Rd, Prestwich, Manchester M25 1QA"
"Not everyone can afford to spend hundreds of dollars on a single cake. However, that doesn’t mean you can’t get beautiful cakes on a budget. Zara Cakes is your best choice if you don’t want to sacrifice quality."
"Teppanyaki Chinatown, 58-60 George St, Manchester, M1 4HF - Visit now. The teppanyaki style of Japanese cooking has a chef using an iron griddle in front of diners, often performing theatrics to entertain the diners. This can be entertaining at times but runs the risk of detracting from the food itself."
"Set in the heart of Manchester's Chinatown, Teppanyaki is the place to go for the ultimate food-theatre experience. Authentic Japanese food is cooked right before your eyes, allowing you to learn all about the Teppanyaki cooking culture. Often restaurants of this style can appear overcrowded and somewhat gimmicky, but not Teppanyaki Chinatown."
"This quietly brilliant restaurant on the fringes of Manchester’s bustling Chinatown has undergone a transformation of late. Gone is the neon-stri ..." Read our full review"
"Driven by a ferocious passion for all things Italian, Wolf can’t wait to welcome you back to the pack, with a spacious heated outdoor terrace with retractable roof available to sit at (no booking necessary). Takeaway orders can be made either in-store, through the Wolf app, or online via Deliveroo and UberEats. Open 10am – 3pm every Monday – Friday, we can’t wait to sink our teeth into something special from Wolf again."
"I swear that the good people of Manchester were waiting for me to leave… I’d been visiting for the inaugural Cup North back in 2014 and no sooner had I left, than it seemed a slew of new coffee shops opened, led by Federal Café & Bar, which, by the way, does what it says on the tin. By day, it’s a café, while by night, it morphs into a bar, although, as I discovered, the staff will happily serve you coffee long into the night (and, I suspect, alcohol during the day). The coffee side of the equation is handled by Kiwi transplants, Ozone, supplying the Hodson blend and decaf on espresso, with a couple of single-origins on pour-over, impressive when you consider the (lack of) available space."
"Having conquered Northern Quarter with their Aussie-style brunch bowls, Federal has opened another charming spot in Deansgate. Expect the same easy breezy vibes, alongside healthy plates that include a winning banana bread."
"City-centre favourite Federal offers an all-day brunch until 6pm, as well as a range of sandwiches, bagels and amazing coffee. We recommend The Turkish Eggs. View this post on Instagram"
