"The Egg Cafe can be found just off Bold Street on Newington Street. Not only is it one of Liverpool’s premier vegetarian and vegan restaurants (they did vegan before it was hipster), it is also in a beautiful airy loft space of an old Victorian warehouse building. With a lush interior of wood and light seating, the menu here is so reasonably priced and fresh and as delicious as you’d expect from a Swedish-style eatery."

"Night & Day Café has undoubtedly got an illustrious and iconic history in Manchester. First opening its doors on Oldham Street all the way back in 1991, Night & Day eventually began morphing from a humble cafe into a dual venue that doubled as a boisterous live music club, and is nowadays known as an important meeting place for all the city’s creatives."
"This cool and quirky music venue doubles up as a cafe-bar, serving food and alcohol. If supporting local music is your thing, bands and artists take to the stage most evenings. View this post on Instagram"
"23/05/2021: Recently came to have a meal and was very pleased with the welcome from the host along with helping with track and trace and being covid secure, loveliest staff members taking our orders and they were more than helpful in accommodating me with my nut allergy and double checking the food contents. Very much appreciate not being made to feel like a burden with my allergens, would highly recommend to visit and enjoy good food and surroundings. 17/05/2021: The staff were great, following COVID guidelines only down side was the outside area has not been touched during the lockdown there are cigarette bins broken off the wall and the seating is old and haggard it needs some investment"
"This 13th-century church about a mile north of Macclesfield is the fourth church on this site. But what’s unusual is that the third church is still here, out among Medieval yew trees. There’s a Norman Romanesque chapel in the churchyard, dating to the 12th century, with semi-circular door and window arches and weathered but visible tympanum relief and lozenge patterns in the archivolts."

This rugby-mad town’s pride and joy is surely the Halliwell Jones Stadium, home to Rugby League team the Warrington Wolves. Built in 2003, the Halliwell Jones Stadium is a modern stadium that makes a great live sports venue!"
