"If I could only visit one place in the Peak District with kids or without it would be Chatsworth House. The House and Grounds are extensive and any absolute must for any UK bucket list!. I personally love wandering around the House and learning more about this history of the family however this probably won’t be the favourite activity of those travelling with small children."

"First of all, I need to clarify: the picture in the post upstairs is not Harden Manor at all! Harden Manor, super beautiful! You won’t be bored for a long time here, the manor is full of beautiful scenery. The food in the manor restaurant is also good. highly recommended!"

So while the north and east facades have romantic black and white timber framing the south and west wings are brick built, with a solemn Palladian portico. Adlington is hired out for weddings, but on Sundays between April and October the house and gardens are open to visitors."

"It was presented in a cute little glass and the menu stated it was ‘made at kitchens in Manchester.’ It definitely tasted home made and although it was nice, it was so milky that the flavour was overpowered. This was also the most expensive one."
