"You must have been living under a rock if you haven't heard of Rudy's. The Neapolitan pizza masters only recently started doing takeaway (only collection at first) around lockdown, but we're so happy they're keeping it up - those queues and bookings out the wazoo at their Peter Street and Ancoats locations are impossible at times. They even started selling 'Bake at Home' kits, though you really need a proper oven to make it the way they do."
"Rudy’s is so good, it’s always a pleasant surprise when you get the bill and remember just how budget-friendly it really is. Pizza prices range from £6.30 – £10.50 (the more expensive options being the meatier ones!), and each pizza is bigger than the huge plate its served on. The value for money is incredible, particularly since it’s officially the best pizza in the UK, and the atmosphere is perfect for a catch-up with mates."
"Rudy’s is another great pit stop for vegans, with their specials board often providing a different dairy-free option every week. Rudy’s Neapolitan pizza dough is 100% vegan, and alongside their stunning marinara, any pizza on the menu can be asked for without cheese. No wonder they’re labelled the best pizzas in town."
"Don Giovanni, Peter House, 1-2 Oxford St, Manchester, M1 5AN - Visit now. Don Giovanni’s has been one of the city’s most well-known Italian restaurants for over thirty years, providing gimmick-free meals with a focus on traditional Mediterranean ingredients. Keep an eye out for the special events featuring guest chefs such as Jean-Christophe Novelli."
"Award-winning restaurant Don Giovanni is the oldest independently-owned Italian in Manchester, established in 1984. We've proudly been serving fresh, high-quality authentic Italian meals to the people of Manchester for over thirty years. We are located on Oxford Street adjacent to St Peter's Square tram stop in the heart of Manchester city centre."
"With more than 30 years in the business, Don Giovannis knows a thing or two about Italian dining in Manchester. As the longest-running independent Italian, the space has been keeping the city happy for decades thanks to tasty mix of steaks, fish and risotto dishes."
"Another luxe offering from the San Carlo group, this fun (and date-worthy) Italian restaurant in Manchester follows the signature style of sister sites. Head to Fumo to find sunny splashes of yellow from the banquette seating through to an eye-catching wall feature."
"The San Carlo chain certainly seems to know what it's doing, so the arrival of Fumo - its fifth restaurant in Manchester - is exciting most welcome."
