"Another great historic house with plenty to do in the grounds for kids, Temple Newsam is only around 15 minutes’ drive from Leeds city centre. "Endcliffe Park is 15 hectares of land in the south west corner of Sheffield. Listed on English Heritage's National Register of Historic Parks & Gardens, Endcliffe Park has both parkland and woodland to enjoy, as well as two ponds. The park was opened in 1887 to commemorate the Jubilee of Queen Victoria and, as such, you can see two monuments in the park dedicated to the Queen - a statue and an obelisk."

"Kinder Scout is the highest point in the Peak District and is, therefore, a popular route for hikers. The walk from Edale goes up Jacob’s Ladder towards some incredible rock formations and, of course, the Kinder Low trig point.
