"Calderstones Park is a family park sprawling in a 94-acre wide area. A fusion of woodland, lake and fields, this is certainly one of the best places that the whole family can enjoy for different scenery and activities like hiking, strolling and running. The park was chosen as a WW2 hero dog’s resting place called Jet, with a monument to him in the park, aw. The monument has been in the park since 1949 and can still be found today, giving you a great opportunity to do some exploring."

"This 126 acres family park has a botanical garden, a playground and the six ancient Calderstones, after which the park is named. "A treasured monument and attraction in Warrington, Walton Hall is a Jacobean Revival mansion, built in the 1830s for Sir Gilbert Greenall, an MP who had a 45-year career at the House of Commons. "Fletcher Moss Park is located in Didsbury and is a great place to go if you really appreciate nature. "This 121-acre park was opened in 1868 and part of a set of Victorian public parks in Liverpool including Sefton Park and Stanley Park (mentioned above!). "While the country house at Hare Hill Hall is privately owned, the garden is cared for by the National Trust. The star here is the walled garden, a blaze of colour in early-summer when the rhododendrons and azaleas burst into flower. There are also uncommon varieties of poppy, iris, lupin, phlox and echinacea."

The film, about whether there is life anywhere else in the universe, had my kids, me, and the rest of the theatre were gripped."
