Best places for Brunch in Liverpool
"In February 2020 BC (before Covid) we got all excited with a visit to their about-to-open second Manchester branch on Oxford Road but it remains closed as we pine for a cold beer and a hot bhaji on a long table more than ever. We’ll have to make do with Deliveroo for now. It’s all veggie, as existing fans will know, but vegans have plenty to love from the iconic vada pav to the famous broccoli, kale and onion bhajis."
"This laid-back Piccadilly street food favourite has canteen and booth-style seating, and bespoke artwork nodding to Manchester’s industrial heritage. The informal menu is entirely vegetarian: think spiced okra fries, or bundo chaat, a delightful mixture of crunchy samosa pastry, chickpeas, tamarind chutney and turmeric noodles. An excellent beer list showcases local breweries."
"With acclaim from national reviewers, Bundobust's street food and craft beer philosophy may seem simple, but it's hella tasty. The Manchester restaurant is a must for sharing vegan food; though don't end up squabbling over the bhel puri - a mix of pastry, peas and tamarind chutney."
"The Ivy has long-reigned as one of the most beautiful restaurants not only in Manchester but across the UK. Offering up three floors in the Manchester venue – each with a completely different experience – the restaurant is unbeatable if you’re after a lively date night, with a fantastic atmosphere flowing from floor to floor. On the ground floor, you’ll find a stunning, floral brasserie, the second – a decadent, oriental-inspired Asian restaurant, and on the rooftop – a bright, summery floral terrace also serving the varied brasserie menu."
"For those who like their brunches with a touch of glamour and a sprinkle of special, Ivy in Spinngingfields should be top of your list. Head to the first floor brasserie which serves British dishes from 11am every weekend, encompassing all the classics, from smoked salmon through to asparagus and hollondaise."

"When it comes to meat-free dining in Liverpool, this lot have reached legendary status. Although DTH will be closing its doors in January as we navigate yet another national lockdown, fear not: you can still get your fix delivered to your door. "The Egg Café, or as it’s locally known, the Egg is a vegetarian restaurant located just off Bold Street. Vegetarian and Veganism is a growing dietary choice and many are choosing this lifestyle because of the health benefits it offers. The Egg is a restaurant a little different from the rest, nestled along a back street and up a couple of flights of stairs you’ll be welcomed into this loft restaurant which is light, airy and a little bit hippy."
"The Egg Cafe can be found just off Bold Street on Newington Street. It also offers fabulous views of the city centre."

Lotus Vegetarian Kitchen offers so much more choice than your usual vegetarian restaurant. With veggie prawns, beef, and even duck, this restaurant has gone all the way with creating the perfect Asian dishes with bursts of flavour all suitable for all palettes."
"For those seeking vegetarian and vegan options, Lotus Vegetarian Kitchen is the perfect venue.
